Frequently Asked Questions related to GO Campaigns

How long does it take for my campaign to reach full performance?

GO campaigns typically ramp up within 2 to 10 days. During this period, Criteo's AI learns from your site's traffic patterns to deliver increasingly better results.

Can I change my campaign goal after launch?

With Maximize Conversions campaigns, you can change your optimization goal between Sales and Revenue at any time. Other goal changes require creating a new campaign.

Can I schedule budgets for my campaigns?

Yes, you can schedule them for your Daily budgets.

Can I apply a geolocation filter to my campaigns?

At the moment, you can’t set a custom geolocation filter for GO campaigns. Campaigns launched on Criteo GO automatically target users in the country where your website is based.

How does campaign optimization work on Criteo GO?

Our campaigns use Criteo’s AI technology to automatically adjust bids and optimize your performance based on the goal you choose - Traffic, Sales, or Revenue. The system continuously learns from real‑time signals to deliver the best possible results. Your daily budget is also managed automatically, helping your campaign spend efficiently and pace evenly throughout the month.

How many ads can I activate on my campaigns?

You can activate one ad per inventory type.
This means each campaign can include:

  • One display ad

  • One video ad

  • One native ad

  • One social ad

This structure keeps your setup simple, high-performing, and ensures your ads can automatically adapt and deliver across each inventory type.

What are coupons? Can I add coupons to my campaigns?

Coupons are static image assets that you can add to your display ads to highlight temporary sales or special offers on your website. They appear as an additional visual layer on top of your banner creatives within the Display inventory, helping draw attention to limited‑time promotions and increase engagement.

Yes, coupons can be used on your campaigns launched on Criteo GO. This allows you to promote on‑site discounts or special deals directly within your setup.

For compliance reasons, I need to show multiple prices in my ads. How can I do this with GO?

GO ads make it easy to meet local compliance regulations, for example, you might need to offer the lowest price in the last 30 days. You can choose to display two prices in your banners:

  • Sale price: The price customers will pay during the promotion (Price field in your catalog).

  • Reference price: The lowest price in the last 30 days (Retail price field in your catalog).

To make sure everything is correct and up to date:

  • Fill in the Price field with the promotional price.

  • Fill in the Retail price field with the lowest price the product has been sold for in the past 30 days.

Keeping these fields accurate will ensure your ads always display the right information.

Do I need to create separate campaigns for each channel?

No. GO campaigns manage all channels - Display, Native, Video, and Social - within a single campaign. You can turn channels on or off at any time using the Cross‑channel reach setting, giving you full flexibility without needing to create multiple campaigns.

What happens if I activate Social but haven't linked my Meta account?

Your GO campaign will still go live, but the Social ad will show as "Not delivering" until your Meta account is connected. You can link your Meta account in the Account Connections section of your settings.

How does Criteo optimize my budget across channels?

Criteo’s AI‑powered bidding automatically distributes your budget across all active channels to maximize performance toward your selected campaign goal. You don’t need to manually split or manage spend between channels - the system takes care of it for you.
